Our 32nd Birthday!
Dearest Village,
We sit in deep gratitude for the space we created together this past Friday. It takes a Village to make a Village and on March 31st, we all felt so deeply the Village that is Spontaneous Celebrations when it is vibrant and joyful. As we are all aware, it has been a very isolating past few years, making the fullness we felt, the voices we heard, the essence and presence of us all, All the more powerful in our community arts center.
Thank you all so much.
And let’s do it all again! And again! And Again!
Celebrate! Create Art! Create Change! Create Community!
We invite you to dream with us and to get more deeply involved. This could look like:
Joining a Friday evening potluck and visiting with neighbors and friends.
Coming to a Wake Up the Earth festival meeting on Monday evenings at Spontaneous from 7-9pm to help create our 45 year old annual festival on Saturday, May 6th.
Or volunteering for an hour or two on the day of the festival. You can email spontaneousvolunteering@gmail.com to get involved.
We hope to see you all more frequently. And we would love you to share your ideas of what programming could be and how we can get all of our friends and neighbors more deeply involved!
