Thank you for a joyful 45th Wake Up the Earth!
Dearest JP Community,
Thank you all for sharing such a joyful Wake Up the Earth Festival with all of us here at Spontaneous Celebrations! What an amazing day!
And what an amazing community we have built. Continue to build. The climate resilience focus was embraced and supported by so many people and we are deeply looking forward to continuing to grow that focus.
This year so far was the most successful fundraiser Spontaneous Celebrations has ever seen come from it’s spring festival and you can still donate to support the community center’s work if you didn’t have a chance to this weekend!
There were many decades that went by where this beautiful spring celebration cost the community center funding, it’s incredible to see the festival raise funds to support community arts. Again thank you all so very much.
Thank you to all our sponsors! Urban Edge, NACA, JPNDC, DCR, MCC, JP Licks, Evergreen, Station 8 Salon, the Haven, Cityfeed and Supply, Tres Gatos and Casa Verde, Cruz Companies, Morrisons Auto, Street Car, Manns and Rodgers Funeral Home, the Midway Cafe, Sazama Real Estate, Southebys Real estate and the Boston Home Team, SEED, Ignite Fitness, Tonino, Mikes Fitness, Hatched, Purple Cactus, Boing, BMS, New Leaf Flores, Ellen and Janis Real estate, Boston Building Resources.
And a huge thank you to our partners this year! Zumix, Bikes Not Bombs, City Life/Vida Urbana, Metamovements and Egleston Square Farmers Market!
Thank you to Mayor Wu, Councilor Lara and Mejia and Rep Montaño for supporting and speaking at the festival on climate resilience!
Thank you to our organizing team for being truly dedicated and for the half a year of organizing meetings and work. You are so deeply appreciated.
Let’s continue to grow together the impact of social healing arts, arts and activism, and the meaningful change we can bring to our community at large through the arts.
Spring blessings to all!!
