The 40th Annual Jamaica Pond Lantern Parade is postponed to Oct. 28th and 29th!
Dearest Friends and Neighbors,
The 40th Annual JP Lantern Parade will be postponed until October 28th and 29th due to the weather front moving in… 🌧🌧🌧
We will be hosting Lantern Making at Spontaneous Celebrations community art center 45 Danforth Street JP from 3pm-8pm tomorrow, (Saturday the 21st). There will be a potluck and lantern making.. bring food to share! And Sunday the 22nd there will be Lantern Making 5-8pm.
Come join community, make art and hang out. If you want to bring a lantern home for yourself please donate $5-$10 per lantern. You can pay by Venmo (SpontaneousCelebrations) or online.
See you all next weekend for the parade and sooner if you want to come enjoy Lantern making!
