Public Class - Grandfathered Pricing

Renting space for a class that is open to the public is $30/hour. If you are booking for 2 hours, please select 2 under “Quantity.”
Before paying for this rental, please make sure you have a signed contract in place.
Terms and Conditions:
Supplies:
Renters are responsible for bringing their own supplies. The renters may only store material with written permission from SC. This policy will be strictly enforced. SC will have the rooms at a default setting, provide toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, and cleaning supplies.
Set Up and Clean Up:
Set up and clean-up is included in the rental time. Set up and clean up that exceeds the rental time may result in additional rental charges.
Any furniture (tables, chairs, etc.) moved must be returned to its place of origin.
All equipment, decorations, supplies, or other materials supplied by the renter should be removed before the end of each rental class period.
Floors should be swept clean after each class.
Any liquid spills should be mopped as they occur.
Any food stored in the refrigerator must be removed.
All food trash generated by the renter must be removed from the building and deposited in the dumpster (in the lot across the street).
All recycling must be placed in the recycling bins outside the back door.
SC will be responsible for bathrooms.
Publicity:
The renters are responsible for their own publicity. The name of Spontaneous Celebrations and its phone number may not be publicized without the approval of SC. The renter will pay all legal fines for illegal posting of handbills. SC will provide descriptions on our website and calendar if provided.
Liability:
The renter agrees to hold Spontaneous Celebrations harmless for any loss incurred by the renter or any person occupying pursuant to the renter’s consent and indemnify Spontaneous Celebrations from any claim brough by any person occupying Spontaneous Celebrations’ building with or without renters’ consent.
Participation:
The renter, or a representative, agrees to participate in bi-annual renters meetings to be held in September and June, encourage their constituents to participate in our annual festivals (Lantern Parade and WUTE), and to share capital campaigns appeals with their constituents aimed at improving SC facilities.
Cancelation or Termination:
SC reserves the right to cancel any class(es) or block of classes with 45 day’s notice. SC also reserves the right to terminate any contract if renter engages in behavior not in line with our mission statement or damage to the property occurs.
