…to everybody who came out to celebrate the 44th Wake Up the Earth Festival with us.
Whether you stilt-walked in the parade, danced funk, Zumba, or Samba, bought tomatoes from a local farmer, ran around the Maypole, captured moments on your cameras, or simply walked around and took it all in… we hope you enjoyed the celebration of our beautiful planet and the community that we are all a part of.
An extra special thank you to everyone who made the festival possible: our volunteers, our sponsors, our staff, our donors…thanks for putting money into the buckets or scanning our Venmo code (we’re officially cool now). After a couple of years of pandemic restrictions, it felt like the Earth needed an extra special awakening this year and we couldn’t have done it without all of your help!!!
