Lantern Parade 2022

Dear Spontaneous Community,

What a Lantern weekend it was! Hopefully you were among the hundreds of kids and adults who celebrated the Lantern Parade together with us this past weekend!

There was cider making, delicious food, music on land and on water, lanterns of all sorts, and kids and adults in costumes, enjoying it all.

Special thanks to all the volunteers who worked creatively and tirelessly to create multiple new designs for lanterns, after our traditional source of 3-liter plastic bottles dried up! Bravo to the R. Hernandez K1-to-8th grade students for creating pieces of Art with up-cycled materials! And to the Programming Circle, Board members, local and international artists, and other volunteers who set up and staffed and put away the Festival!!

And thank you to the many photographers who shared their pictures for all to enjoy. If you want to send us your shots, please e-mail them to SpontaneousCelebrations@gmail.com.

Thank you for coming, and thank you for supporting Spontaneous!
